Report on March, 2011 Meeting

Greetings, Stampers!

We had a great deal of fun at our March meeting, with seventeen dedicated stampers in attendance.  Sandy Sweeney was the make and take instructor; she brought us all the fixings to make the card pictured immediately below.  She even included the two pennies it takes to create the 'slider' to twirl the bunny when the card was tilted.  The end result is the cutest 'frosted' bunny and most glittery egg you ever saw.   The assembly was not as complicated as it might appear and Sandy gave step-by-step instructions to those who needed them. Sandy outdid herself in preparing materials for us; thank you so much, Sandy.

Several members brought show and tell cards for us to ooh! and ah! over and, as usual, we swapped some wonderful cards.  All these are shown below.  I continue to be amazed by the creativity of our group and by the variety of techniques used to prepare the cards that are brought to share.  I regret to say that I can't tell you who created what, but if you're interested in any particular card, you might inquire at our next meeting --you will be attending the next meeting, won't you?  It's too much fun to miss!

Speaking of the next meeting:  surprise, surprise!  We're back on schedule, at least for April. The meeting will be held on the third Saturday, April 16, from 1-4 p.m.  Elaine Acord is the make and take instructor.  More news about that meeting later.  Now, on to the cards.

I hope you're enjoying the nice weather. It's about time Spring got here.

See you soon.
